Burning The Masses is a Technical Deathcore band formed in 2006 out of San Diego, California. Burning the masses started out by self-releasing their demo in 2006, and has been trying to make a good name out of themselves by playing shows in the Westcoast. They then signed to Mediaskare Records(As blood runs black, silent civilian,belay my last) and released their EP entiled “Volatile Existence” and is expected to release a full-length album entidled “Mind Control” in late summer/fall of 2008 on Mediaskare Records. Burning the masses are well known “Stoners” proved that they are proud of it by releasing their “Grape Ape” 1&2 shirts.

Lividity began as a 1 man project in 1993 with Dave, victimizing the underground with his first 3 song promo ‘94 recorded on a Yamaha 4 track recorder and a drum machine containing 3 songs… Altar Pieces, Mortal Impalement, and Spewing Chunks!! The ideas were dark and dismal, yet heavy and torturous!! As you will hear influences taken from such great bands as Hypocrisy, Bloodfeast, Cannibal Corpse, Obituary, Paralysis, Dismember, Suffocation, etc… molded into what will become Lividity!! Tommy Davis joined in on drums and vocals, adding depth to the mix and recording a rehearsal demo titled, “Ritual Of Mortal Impalement” ‘95 with 9 songs like Graveyard Delicacy, The Process Of Disembowelment, Food, etc… 6 of these tunes were released on the split cassette from Illinois’ murder junkies, Morgue Fetus in ‘95!! After the split of Illinois’ death squad, Desecration, we joined forces with Matt (guitar / backing vocals) and Aaron (bass / vocals) Summer of ‘95! Went to Private Studios (IL) and recorded the 4 song demo, “Rejoice In Morbidity” ‘96 through Immortal Records (Pol.)! Containing the classic cuts of Orifice Reconstruction, Fetal Scabs, Tampered Flesh, and Rectal Wench… Aaron had left the band and we hired Mike Smith on bass from thrashers Avatar (IL), and Matt moved to vocals!! We went to Sinewave Studios (IL) and recorded the 11 song CD, “Fetish For The Sick” ‘97 through Ablated Records (OH)! This sparked off such twisted anthems as Pussy Lover, Lacerations Of An
Unclean Twat, and My Cock It Bleeds as well as rerecorded versions of
“R.O.M.I. ” demo songs!! Tommy had left the band and we hired Nick Null, Nov. ‘97… While we were writing music, we released a Live CD titled “Show Us Your Tits” ‘99 through United Guttural Records (IL) with bonus “R.I.M.” demo at the end plus on cassette format through D.I.Y. label Maniacal Brutality Prod. in Latvia (Europe) titled, “Anal Action Live” ‘99!! We went back to Private Studios (IL) and recorded a 9 song CD titled “The Age Of Clitoral Decay” ‘00 through United Guttural Records again! Also was licensed to Erebos Productions (Slk) on CD, cassette, and t-shirts in September 2000… licensed to Extreme Souls Productions (Indonesia) on cassette May 2001… bought / licensed with Apidocere Records (Fra) August 2001… Lividity used 3 of the songs to complete the split 7” with German gore whores, Profanity… released through Cudgel Agency (Ger) February 2000!!!

June 1999, the Europe nation welcomed Lividity as we set off to play 3
countries with fellow demons, Fleshless (Cz) and Sanatorium (Slk) w/ special supports Godless Truth (Cz), Perversist (Cz), Intervalle Bizzare (Cz), Appaling Spawn (Cz), Amorph Pneuma (Ger), Demented Retarded (Cz), 4 Seats 4 Invalides (Cz), Monolith (A), Grind 6.4 (Cz) amongst others!! We trudged through Germany, Czech Republic and Slovakia…

On a sad and tragic note… we have had the opportunity to excel and write some of the best music we could conjure up from our blackened souls with the creative help from Nick Null!! His life was taken from us July 2000 with a fatal heart attack and didn’t recover, so our thoughts and love are with Nick everyday and his family!!

James Whitehurst started slamming the skins for us April 2001 and is a machine and helped solidify this unit… We entered Mercenary Digital Studio (IL) in March 2002 to create a landmark release! “…’Til Only The Sick Remain” hit the streets August 2002 through Morbid Records (Ger)!! Contains such songs as Coated With My Semen, Snack Size Tits, T.L.C. (Tight ‘Lil Cunt), The Second Cumming, Fetal Scabs, Unrelenting Homicidal Obsession, A Woman’s Place Is On My Face, Conception Through Ingestion, and more!! Lividity has signed a 2 album deal with German label, Morbid Records!! We have been grateful for the support Carsten and the rest of the Morbid crew has given the Lividity camp and appreciate their hard work ethic and longevity of their company!! Morbid Rec. has been very supportive to Lividity for the past few years and makes this deal a special one!!

Lividity set out to do the unthinkable in March 2003, do a full fledged 4 week headlining tour through Europe!! Was a smash hit while on the road with metal comrades Master (Us), Mastic Scum(A), and Damnable(Pol)! Trudged through such countries as Germany, Holland, France, Austria, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Belgium! This was a positive mind-set for the band due to there was a world war going on and we needed music and friends to keep our spirits up!! Thanks to Bruchstein Records and Morbid Records for the great adventure!

Aaron has departed ways again and we wish him the best, so we have hired Chris Campbell on bass. We are working hard to create some crushing tunes that will be more mature in structure yet unrelentless brutality in true Lividity fasion!! Some song titles are Raped For Rent, Deviant Pleasures, An Exhibition In Carnage, Bound In Skin, No Time For Lube, and title track… Used, Abused And Left For Dead!! The re-issue of 1997’s “Fetish For The Sick” has been unleashed once again at the Central Illinois Metalfest 2004 in August, through Comatose Music (Usa) and contains an additional 45 minutes of bonus live trax taken from the European Tour 2003 while in Germany!! Relive the classick that brought you Lacerations Of An Unclean Twat, Graveyard Delicacy, Brains For Lubrication, Rectal Wench, My Cock It Bleeds, and the anthem Pussy Lover!!

With the loss of James Whitehurst and the addition of Jordan Varela (aka The Violator) on drums plus the latest transformation of Matt Bishops’ departure and the hiring of Von Young (Deaden). The next orgasmic onslaught, “Used, Abused And Left For Dead” is under way again and there are 12 songs, goal is to have it out early Spring 2006 and continue our quest for world domination!! Call them deathcore and you might just get a guitar headstock to the jaw. But even if you were to call them something ridiculous like emo or hair metal (neither of which remotely apply), Carnifex would still rip just as hard. The music on their second album, The Diseased and the Poisoned, is like a revving chainsaw to the sternum — a messy, blast of pain that triggers a blinding explosion in the brain. And their video for “Answers is Mourning” just might give you an aneurysm (MTV, nor the band are accountable for any injury sustained during listening to the song or viewing the video). We shot this video for “Answers in Mourning” in the early part of July in Virginia with director Scott Hansen. It was nearly 100 degrees there by 9 a.m. The location was pretty interesting, to say the least. We were literally out in the sticks and right next to an old graveyard. Our shoot site was an old, abandoned schoolhouse that had become the home for all the area’s wasps and bats. That’s pretty metal, right?

All throughout the shoot, wasps were buzzing around and, every once in a while, a bat would fly by. Other than that, everything went incredibly well. Despite the heat and the fact that we had to carry all our gear to the third floor of the house… it was a great shoot and an extremely fun day. The entire crew, particularly the little actor dude was awesome.

To keep it short, we play Party Death-Metal from Atlanta, Georgia. We cut the bullshit and have fun. ATTILA is signed to Statik Factory Records and was formed in August of 2005 amidst four guys who loved heavy music. As time progressed, we went through a few lineup changes, but the two founding members (fronz and sean) remained constant. By combining all of our interests, thoughts, and ideas, we we’re able to develop our own style of music. The heavy music scene is littered with countless numbers of christian bands, straight-edge bands, and overrated scene bands. We’d rather have fun. Every show is a party, and we encourage our fans to get on stage, hang from rafters, crowd surf, head-walk, stage dive, and take the mic. We have fun at shows, so why shouldn’t you?

We’ve toured the east coast three times, and we are hardly satisfied with that. We will be touring full time starting this winter. East coast, west coast, canada, mexico, europe, australia- we’re taking it all over. It’s only a matter of time. We have a full length self released cd out right now titled “Fallacy”. please buy it! we are about to release our newest CD titled “the soundtrack to a party” on December 9th 2008. Attila(Billy Joel):
Attila was also the name of a band featuring a young Billy Joel. Billy was a member of a band called The Hassles; he and the drummer, Jon Small, broke away from the Hassles and formed this duo. The instrumentation was mostly organ and drums, with Billy Joel also handling the bass lines with a keyboard, like the Doors’ Ray Manzarek. Their creative partnership ended when Joel allegedly ran off with Small’s wife.

They released only one album, “Attila,” in 1970, later reissued by CBS in 1985. Attila is often selected by critics and other music journalists as one of the worst rock albums of all time; however, although it’s not an easily accessible album, its unique jazz-metal fusion has become a cult favorite amongst Joel’s fans. One track from the album, “Amplifier Fire, Part 1 (Godzilla),” appears on Joel’s 2005 boxed set “My Lives.”

Attila is also the name of an american heavy metal band with one release, Rolling Thunder, in 1986.

All Shall Perish is a deathcore quintet from Oakland, California formed in 2002, which combines various genres, including death metal, technicalgrind, metalcore, and sludge metal. returns with their most diverse offering yet! Never one to record the same album twice, ALL SHALL PERISH has made yet another giant leap forward for themselves and the death and grind genres. Awaken the Dreamers cements the band‘s status as leaders in their field after 2006's milestone release, The Price of Existence, permanently secured the groups place in metal history. In a scene that is fast becoming stale ALL SHALL PERISH is here to resuscitate and breathe new life into a genre full of fly by night successes.

Death metal and technical grind have an interesting way of co-existing. While each genre shares characteristics with the other it would seem that many bands would rather stay narrow in scope and keep the two as oil and water. Formed with the intent of not being labeled with the restricting monikers of "death metal", "hardcore" or "metalcore,"ALL SHALL PERISH blasted onto the bay area scene in 2002 playing every kind of show imaginable. After recording a self titled 3 song demo, the Japanese label Amputated Vein Records released their first full length album Hate.Malice.Revenge (2003). After a ton of underground D.I.Y. touring, the band signed a world wide deal with Nuclear Blast records in December of 2004. Nuclear Blast rereleased Hate.Malice.Revenge in early ‘05 and ALL SHALL PERISH spent the rest of 2005 touring and writing their second record. Successful tours with the likes of SIX FEET UNDER, AS I LAY DYING, BLEEDING THROUGH, BRUJERIA, DYING FETUS and DIECAST all helped expose the band to a new and diverse audience.

Ever since then, ALL SHALL PERISH have been re-defining the death and grind genres with vibrant ideas and unrelenting delivery. Giving us brutal music that possesses a natural need to experiment and push the boundaries of the extreme underground. While Hate.Malice.Revenge. quickly gave the band a name throughout the underground, it was their second offering, The Price Of Existence, that turned the death metal and underground hordes on their collective ear. The release earned them the reputation of being one of the best young extreme acts from the United States in this new millennium. Tours with such genre leaders as AGNOSTIC FRONT, HATE ETERNAL, RED CHORD, DESPISED ICON, SUICIDE SILENCE, ARSIS and THE FACELESS would follow. Soon the band set their sites on writing a new record and just one question was on everyone's mind; could they possibly top The Price of Existence?

Jump to present day and the answer is obviously a resounding, YES THEY CAN! Awaken the Dreamers was produced and mixed once again by Zach Ohren (DECREPIT BIRTH, ODIOUS MORTEM, LIGHT THIS CITY), capturing the unbridled energy of their live shows more effectively than ever. There's even a face melting guitar solo from guitar hero Rusty Cooley on the track “From So Far Away.” Vocalist Hernan Hermida proves once again why he was choosen as the bands vocalist, showcasing his earth shattering range and giving the performance of his career. Lead guitarist Chris Strorey seems to have single handedly brought melodic and shred guitar to the genre, much as James Murphy (DEATH, OBITUARY) did for traditional death metal in the early 90's. Ben Orum shows why he is one of metals most talented riff writers today, going from super technical riffing to the most gut wrenching groove imaginable. Powerhouse drummer Matt Kuykendall is no slouch either and will soon be ranked among extreme metal's elite players.

ALL SHALL PERISH To Film 'Never… Again' Video

Oakland metallers ALL SHALL PERISH will film a video for the song "Never… Again" in downtown Los Angeles this Tuesday (Novemebr 11) with director Gary Smithson (EXODUS, PRONG, GOATWHORE, etc.). The track comes off the band's third full-length album, "Awaken the Dreamers", which sold just under 5,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to enter The Billboard 200 chart at position No. 126. The follow-up to "The Price of Existence" was recorded once again at Castle Ultimate Studios in Oakland with producer Zack Ohren.

Drummer Matt Kuykendall previously stated about the new album: "We have never been a band to write the same record twice and we have never enjoyed records that are one single and 11 worse versions of the same song. This record is the most diverse thing we have done to date. Every song is different and brings something new to the overall experience of the CD. When you look back to all the classic records of our time, they are full of all kinds of different songs. 'Vulgar Display of Power' just wouldn't be the same without 'This Love' and 'Hollow'. Our record is a breath of fresh air in a scene that is turning stale."

The brain child of Greg Erickson and Trent Hafdahl, ATB, as it is known by fans, formed in spring of 2004 with its other members Justin, Nick, and Lee. Mostly touring local Twincities gigs ATB has enjoyed a coastal tour. In May of 2006 drummer Greg and the band split but appear to still maintain a good relationship. In August of 2006, the band replaced the departed Greg with current drummer Eric Robles. Nick left the band to pursue his other musical interests and Grant joined.

Their new album Rareform came out July 22, 2008 and is their first release for their new label Sumerian Records.

It all began in Imperial Beach, CA in April 2004. Forrest Stedt (drums) and Steve Crow (guitar) wanted to get back into music making. At first, Forrest and Steve played in a garage just throwing around ideas and writing songs. Shortly after, one of their oldest friends Paul Hickey (bass) was added. For a while it was just writing music and thinking up a band name. It was decided on the name CONDEMNED. The name fit well with their ideas. After a little over a year of practicing in Forrest's garage it was decided best to move on to another place to rehearse due to time constraints affecting creativity. They found a rehearsal building shortly after and moved in. CONDEMNED started working even harder thanks to new found freedom and began writing for a future album. In July 2005, Condemned added second guitarist Chris Ben-Judah (guitar).After a considerable amount of time searching for a vocalist, Forrest and Steve decided to write lyrics and share vocal duties on the demo and use it as an ad for a vocalist with the same vision. However, in late September they received a response from Angel Ochoa (vocals) and decided to try him out.

After a single demonstration of Angel's disgusting ability he was added as the final piece of Condemned. With Angel, CONDEMNED's sound was finally complete and in November 2005, Condemned recorded their "Mass Burial" demo. The demo spread out fast and created a good name for them in the brutal death metal scene. With that, a new brutal death metal band is spawned and ready to destroy. Condemned has since parted with bassist Paul Hickey and guitarist Chris Ben-Judah, and have recruited bassist Mario Pena and guitarist Jerry Williams. CONDEMNED was soon in search of a label to help put out their debut album and was consequentially contacted by Zdenek of Lacerated Enemy Records. After a considerable amount of discussion they signed with LE Records, together they created and released their first full-length album entitled "Desecrate the Vile". Condemned have built a strong fan base internationally and have toured through Japan, Europe, and through the U.S. in support of the album. Condemned have recently parted ways with 2nd guitarist Jerry Williams and are working as a 4 piece. They recently signed with Unique Leader Records for better promotions here in the U.S. and to release the 2nd coming album entitled "Realms of the Ungodly".
